Cradle Mountain – Lake St. Clair

I will take you guys to Cradle Mountain – Lake St. Clair National park next. This all blue sky and sun is a very pretty and rare view at Cradle Mountain!

Look at this pretty picture! Yes this was our day we spent at Cradle Mountain. We were extremely lucky ’cause the day before (arrival) it was a bit foggy and drizzling. So the day we went for a hik in the park we had this beautiful, and very hot (!) weather. The day after (departure) it was all rain!

To go on this hike you just take a bus into the park that will drop you of at the lake and you can choose to take a walk around the lake, walk a up to a lookout and some more. For me it was way to hot outside and I was not planning on going as far as we originally plant.. But in the end it was so worth it to go! As sunny as this day at Cradle Mountain it is very rare.

Let me tell you, if you are on the other side of this beautiful park and let’s say like 9 days later the weather will look so different. We visited Lake St. Clare 9 days later. This is still in the same National park and also very pretty to take a look. We took a hike when it was foggy and drizzling, yep indeed this was like te weather at arrival day Cradle Mountain LOL.

Whatever the weather will be, trust me you will love these places!
