The hidden gem of Tassie

Here we go guys, off to Corinna.

Let me tell you about getting there, it is not an easy way… We drove all day, this was not planned at all! We had a gps telling us to take the short cut, this involves a lot of off-road driving. This is NOT the way you wanna go to Corinna. Your rental company will not like it, so don’t do it.

Because we took the wrong way, we needed to turn around and go all the way around. I know Tasmania does not seem that big, but it is when there is only one road you can take that is paved! In the end we drove too much and the road ended in a lot of curves until you were almost at Corinna.

In the end it was all worth it, I will just show you. The reason why I wanna call this the hidden gem of Tasmania is because of the beautiful nature you will not see anywhere else. You have to take a boat to see some more beauty.

We took a little hike first before going on this little boat trip. If you are planning to go to Corinna you will find one place to stay, nothing else. Oh and it is totally off the grid, so no, no wifi and no cell service! But don’t worry nature makes it all better.

When you take the little boat out on the Pieman River, like we did, you will go to these hidden stairs in the middle of nowhere. If you climb up these stairs you will find this beautiful little waterfall.

Everything around it is so amazing as well!

Look at that! You guys this is way too awesome 🙂 And remember, I took these stairs with a infant on my arm, so no this is not hard to do.
