Tarkine drive
Welcome to our first stop on our beautiful journey around the world.
In the beginning of this year somewhere in February we went on this amazing trip to see Australia and New Zeeland. Well let me tell you, I am still busy editing my photos (LOL) ! For me at first I thought this is crazy a three month trip. I am a horse owner and going away for like two weeks for me was always the max. And than this happens, like it is nothing am I right? Nope I don’t have any regrets about this trip. In fact this trip totally made me take this step to go online and open a blog so I could share my favorite spots!
So here we go, on our travels to Australia we went to this little island that they like to call Tassie (Tasmania). Oh my oh my these people are so damn proud of their country! And they should be, ’cause it was an amazing place to be.
Our first hike was in Trowutta Caves State Reserve and we went to see the Trowutta Arch. This is a part of the Tarkine Drive, were you can take a lot of different hikes to see so much beauty. I just wanna say, the path to it is already beautiful. All these amazing trees you see, damn couldn’t get enough of them! I will just show you a little picture of the trees.
Okay of we go to the next pretty place at the Tarkine Drive. This time we are in the Julius River Forest Reserve. Were you can take a hike among the many many pretty trees and beautiful water steams. In the end you will find your way to Lake Chisholm. It is a hidden place in a big river forest, but is so worth hiking up to!
Guys, please do remember that every trail we took I walked with a child carrier! So if you think al the hikes are hard to do, than NO they are not. If I can do it with a child on my back, than every step you take is super easy 🙂
Like I sad, every trail you take is so damn pretty and in the end it is so worth taking te hike! Okay just enjoy a few pictures more.
You are welcome 🙂
